Hello! My name is Chris Hudson, and 2017-18 will be my 17th year of teaching (it will be my 11th year at AHS!). I first began considering becoming a teacher in the sixth grade, but it wasn't until I had my tenth grade English teacher Mrs. Allen that I knew for sure. She demonstrated a love for teaching that inspired me, but I still didn't know what subject was for me. Then in 11th grade, I had my all-time favorite teacher Mr. Afzali. Mr. A's enthusiasm for literature and his absolute devotion to his students cemented in my mind that I would become an English teacher someday, and I haven't regretted it since. I attended MTSU where I majored in English and minored in Secondary Education and Spanish, and have been teaching ever since. This school year I will be teaching AP English Language and Composition (11th grade). I'm looking forward to a great school year! Click the link above to email me at any time!
